"Waterbound: The Story of Fort Delaware" is a half-hour documentary film Produced by TELEDUCTION, Inc. in 2002. The film was funded in part with the generous support of the Delaware Tourism Office, the Delaware Humanities Forum, and the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation. Other funding partners include The Olde Canal Inn, Delaware City, Delaware City Main Street.

Using scholarly interviews, on-location cinematography historic reenactment and archival images from the Historical Society of Delaware and the Fort Delaware Society, "Waterbound" brings the Fort Delaware story to life, highlighting its Civil War era.

All of the characters featured in the "stories" section of this website are dramatized in the production, and themes include the daily life, health and medicine, political background, construction, and long-term legacy of Fort Delaware.
